Ultrasound is not only used diagnostically, but it can be used as a therapeutic method to treat swelling!
The Ultrasound device sends sound waves to the area in which is being treated. 1 million vibrations per second goes through Ultrasound wand. This helps with blood flow and reduce swelling all while doing a little tissue cleaning. This procedure takes about 8 minutes and usually you can see a difference at the end of the therapy. Plantar Fasciitis, heel pain, tendonitis, and swelling are just the beginning why Dr. Gilmore and Dr. Ho would highly recommend this therapy in our office.
